VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, August 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Canadian Christian recording artist Shekinah Grace Moyes announces Rise As One, a 15-track crossover album combining contemporary musical styles with a Christian and Scripture-based foundation. A companion release, Rise As One — Essential Edition, features 10 selected tracks from the project.

Made in Vancouver, Canada, the album grew from a creative process that began in Florida, USA, in January 2025 and continued for nearly two years. Christian musicians, vocalists and music professionals from different churches and Christian communities contributed to the project, which continued through health-related and funding challenges.

Scheduled for release in conjunction with Moyes’ birthday celebration, Rise As One represents one of the most extensive recording projects released through Angel Gospel Music to date.

A Multi-Genre Christian Crossover Album

Rather than following a single musical style, Rise As One incorporates elements of pop, R&B, rap, Europop, country gospel, ballad, dance, gospel and New Jack Swing.

Its songs explore mercy, forgiveness, faith, resilience, love, gratitude, Christmas, worship, hope, sport and international unity while maintaining a foundation in Christian faith and the Holy Bible, particularly the Book of Psalms.

Themes of praise, deliverance, mercy, protection, restoration, courage and celebration are interpreted through contemporary musical settings.

Among the recordings, “Mercy Found Me” focuses on mercy, grace, forgiveness and restoration, while “Never Forsaken” brings a country gospel approach to faithfulness and perseverance.

“Crown of Blessings” explores gratitude and God’s provision; “Shine Like Heaven” and “Light in the Night” center on hope and faith; “Because You Heard Me” reflects prayer and gratitude; “Hold Me in Your Truth” emphasizes biblical truth; and “Like a Fortress” draws on biblical imagery of God as refuge and protection.

“I Dance My Faith” celebrates faith through an upbeat setting, while “Christmas Nation of Joy,” inspired by Psalm 97, celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ.

“Rise As One” — Sport and International Unity

The title track, “Rise As One,” extends the album into international sport. Developed in connection with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the recording incorporates English, Spanish and French, reflecting the tournament’s three host countries — Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Centered on teamwork, courage, perseverance and international unity, the song functions as both a sports anthem and an expression of the album’s broader message of bringing people together across cultural boundaries.

The contrast between “Mercy Found Me,” country gospel track “Never Forsaken,” Christmas recording “Christmas Nation of Joy” and multilingual anthem “Rise As One” demonstrates the album’s crossover concept: different genres and subjects connected by a consistent Christian foundation.

Independent Radio, Chart and Retail Campaigns

Recordings associated with the project have achieved independent radio exposure. “Shine Like Heaven,” “Mercy Found Me,” “Christmas Nation of Joy” and “Light in the Night” each reached No. 1 on the DRT Global Top 100 Independent Airplay Chart.

“Shine Like Heaven” and “Mercy Found Me” each held No. 1 for two consecutive weeks, “Christmas Nation of Joy” subsequently reached No. 1, and “Light in the Night” remained at No. 1 for three consecutive weeks.

“Light in the Night” also reached No. 54 on the Mediabase Top 100 Activator Chart.

Four recordings — “Shine Like Heaven,” “Christmas Nation of Joy,” “Light in the Night” and “Rise As One” — were also included in U.S. retail music campaigns covering approximately 92,000 retail locations across the United States between August 2025 and August 2026, complementing the project’s radio, digital and music-video promotion.

The complete Rise As One contains 15 tracks, while Rise As One — Essential Edition presents 10 selected recordings. Both editions are intended to remain available concurrently.
